Saint Seiya Awakening Tier List

It is important to note that this Tier List has been compiled based on the game's PvP. It can also be used in the game's PvE mode, but since only a few sections require PvE-optimized lineups, it is best to check the PvE Clear section.

Characters are considered to be at level 80, with their seventh and eighth senses fully completed, their skills maxed out, and their Awakened Cloth completed. There are units that do not yet have the Awakened Cloth, and they are included in that state. Similarly, they all are considered to have ideal cosmos.

It is not considered whether they are in the Flower Mixer, the level of the Star Pavilion, or the Completed Saints Codex, because these values vary greatly between F2P and Whale accounts.

Finally, the Meta changes periodically as new units or new cosmos are released, but units tend to last a long time, with some even remaining in the meta from the day they were released.

In every game of this type, there are different roles. In Saint Seiya Awakening, we have many roles such as DPS, Tanks, Supports, Debuffers, Buffers, Healers, Control, Kiki, etc. However, many units fulfill more than one role, some even have all of them. For this reason, only the three main roles, or those that are easiest to identify, have been considered: DPS, Support, and Control.

There are units, such as Seraphine EX, that have skills from all three roles. They have been placed in a specific role based on their main skill, unique abilities, and what they excel at most. In any case, you can check each character sheet for more details.

Each unit has been placed in its corresponding tier, taking into account the overall usage table within the game, appearances in Jamir, appearances in PvP, and the cost to fully equip them. All units meet the following requirements:

• Level 80
• Seventh Sense completed
• Eighth Sense completed
• Maximum skill level
• Awakened Cloth activated, if available

Every card also shows up to three badges in its upper-right corner, so you can tell at a glance which game systems that unit has available:

• RC — Repair Cloth available.
• DR — Destiny Reshaping available.
• L — Limited: not in the general summon pool, so it can only be obtained from its own banner.

Meta Lines categorize each section of the tier list into a power bracket. Here are the five brackets:

[T0 Apex Characters] The best characters in the game right now. They work for all game modes, dominate PvP, and allow you to build lineups around them. They are also the most banned units because they are the best.

[Meta Characters] Excellent characters, but with few limitations at present. Many of these units were T0, but they have been countered or no longer sweep everything so easily. They are totally viable and important.

[Low Meta Characters] Good characters, the don't work 100% of the time, but with the correct lineup and bans, they surely have a place in your team.

[Off Meta] Good characters, but whose functions have been surpassed by others. They are still often used because the game has many bans in PvP, but very few appear in tournaments such as Jamir and Legendary PvP levels. This section also tends to include some very fun units.

[T4 Usable] Here we have characters that are used for fun, but can be viable if used correctly. However, they require more effort to use in PvP.

[T5 Forgotten] These characters are very difficult to use in PvP. They don't do enough damage or their abilities don't contribute to lineups. They can be used for fun, but are largely surpassed by others.

September 2026 - The story so far...

• There’s been a lot of movement in the tier lists following the 2026 JGC World Championship. Some characters have seen a significant increase in usage across different versions of the game, and the Destiny Reshaping update has brought back older units (from 7 years ago!) into the meta.
• Goddess of War Sasha- what a great character. The new Sasha burst straight into the meta as one of the best support characters in the game. A safe investment in both the short and long term.
• Aquarius Mystoria has entered the game as one of the most powerful DPS characters; he deals massive AoE damage, and although he can't freeze enemies, he can slow them down, protect an ally, and even execute them.
• Jamir brought some surprises and interesting team compositions. Sleep Angel Toma cemented his status as one of the tournament’s favorite DPS characters, and Ara Hakurei established himself as a key support, while El Cid made a comeback at the highest level thanks to his shields (which are very useful in this meta). In the lower tiers, Aries Shion and Dohko received a skill rework event, which bumped them up slightly in the tier list, but due to the complexity of the event, their use hasn’t become widespread.
• Eris's Awakened Cloth has been well-received, though it hasn’t drastically changed the meta. Surplice Gemini Aspros’s Awakened Cloth hasn’t improved the character much, so he remains an interesting control option but falls short of more powerful control characters. Vouivre Garnet is added to the Tier List, as a decent healer.
