Eris has always been one of the strongest SS Saints in Saint Seiya Awakening, especially for players who enjoy aggressive strategies instead of long, defensive battles. She is an excellent SS unit. The Goddess of Discord, always carrying her apple, is a very easy-to-use unit with a lot of potential for combo teams or teams with Bleed or Burn.
Her strength comes from two complementary mechanics. First, her basic attack strikes three enemies while applying both Bleed and Burn, creating constant pressure throughout the fight. On top of that, Eris can perform assist attacks whenever an ally attacks (up 2 times), allowing her to contribute consistent damage without consuming additional turns. This passive offensive presence makes her particularly valuable in fast-paced teams that trigger multiple actions every round.
The centerpiece of her kit is the Golden Apple, which marks an enemy and causes them to become a liability for their own team. Marked targets can trigger friendly fire effects while also suffering powerful control mechanics, making Eris both an offensive threat and a situational disruptor. Her Awakened Cloth significantly improves this mechanic by automatically placing the Golden Apple on the fastest enemy at the start of battle, reducing the energy cost of manually applying it, and potentially granting extra turns to allies who eliminate marked targets. These additions greatly strengthen combo compositions, especially those focused on chaining multiple consecutive actions.
Now, with the Awakened Cloth, the build changes a bit. Before, we could build an Eris DPS without having to level up the Golden Apple. However, Golden Apple Disaster is the skill to invest in with the Awakened Cloth, so Eris is very expensive to build—we need to level everything up to make her shine.
However, despite these improvements, Eris remains a specialized character rather than a universal solution. Defensive or stall-oriented teams won’t benefit from her nearly as much as aggressive compositions centered around combo chains, Bleed, or Burn. Purification effects can also weaken part of her control package, reducing the impact of her silence against certain meta supports.
Overall, Eris is a powerful long-term investment for players who enjoy explosive offensive gameplay. She has consistently remained relevant even in highly competitive environments, and her Awakened Cloth, she may not completely redefine the meta, but reinforces that role without making her overpowered. If your preferred strategy revolves around ending battles quickly through relentless pressure and multiple action chains, Eris is one of the best offensive enablers you can add to your roster. But unlocking her true potential requires significant investment and carefully built team compositions.
