Gold Cygnus Hyoga is a very tactical unit, although not overly so. Basically, this version of Hyoga can divert attacks to a specific target. In other words, we mark an ally, and an enemy that attacks a target has a chance of attacking the marked ally instead.
With all skills maxed, Hyoga applies Cygnus Cross to an ally with 2 meridian star points (up to 6), redirecting 80% of directed attacks from other allies with only a 10% chance to consume a point. When the Cross bearer attacks, Hyoga assists with Aurora Execution dealing 180% C.DMG plus an additional 80% per meridian point (up to 320% total). Destiny Frozen releases a chill stack with 100% chance when the bearer is attacked, freezing the enemy upon 3 stacks, and grants 30% P.DMG Res and C.DMG Res to the marked ally while the Cross is active.
This is a tactical unit; we can redirect an ally who has the ability to counterattack, not take damage, or accumulate rival damage to make counterattacks. It also has a little control and damage. Unfortunately, most damage is currently AoE, which complicates its use somewhat. Additionally, it doesn’t do much damage and is very fragile, so its use is almost marginal.
