Divine Cloth Capricorn Shura is perhaps one of the best S-class attack unit in the game. Especially since we have the Repair Cloth available which reinforces what already makes him dangerous: stacking Physical Attack, surviving long enough to build his Golden Strength, and turning repeated attacks into devastating damage.
From the very beginning, it was a tremendous, incredibly powerful DPS. Although in its initial form, without the Repair Cloth, it needs a few extra turns to really shine, so it was best to pair it with units like Underworld Shun. Now, tThe Repaired Cloth makes his shield more reliable, since attacks against it can generate additional stacks and even restore its strength when broken. This allows Shura to reach his higher-stack thresholds more consistently, although reaching six or more stacks is still uncommon in his usual aggressive lineups.
At maximum stacks, his damage remains absurd. His attacks can deal True Damage based on the target’s current HP, while also scaling with Shura’s Physical Attack. Even though the rebirth reduces the percentage component from 10% to 5%, the additional Physical Attack scaling makes the final damage considerably stronger than it initially appears. His later-stack effects are more niche, but can become relevant in longer battles or alternative compositions.
The biggest practical benefit, however, comes from his stat improvements. Divine Cloth Shura gains additional Physical Attack and penetration, while his rebirth bonuses further reward an Attack-focused build. This makes him even more competitive in the race to become the highest-Physical-Attack unit on the field.
However, the rebirth does not completely change his fundamental playstyle. In fast, aggressive teams such as Brilliance compositions, you may not notice a dramatic gameplay difference because Shura is still designed around immediate pressure and securing his signature attacks. Players should therefore consider experimenting with Physical Attack + Speed builds when their Cosmos quality allows it, rather than blindly sacrificing too much penetration.
If you’re an experienced player and already have access to the Repair Cloth, you should unlock Shura Divine—he’s one of the best DPS units, has no real counter, and is a unit we see at the highest competitive level. It’s true that he no longer wipes out teams like he used to, but he’s still a force to be reckoned with. If you’re a new player, it might require a significant investment in Skill Books, but Shura Divine is worth every one, especially since he’s the best DPS unit for PvE.
