Mephistopheles Yoma continues to be the best DPS in the game, and his Repaired Cloth (RC) does not change that — it makes the same engine run faster. He was already the unit that does everything: marks that shred defenses, AoE and single-target damage, healing, Energy for the team, several extra turns per round and immunity to basic control. His problem was never power but complexity: you must know his cooldowns and plan how many extra turns he will chain.
The RC reinforces the kit instead of redesigning it: his enhanced third skill heals far more, and that healing scales with every mark stacked on the battlefield, so the longer the fight lasts the harder he is to bring down. The single-target brick also hits harder and keeps growing every time he casts it during the same round. The passive now permanently rewards switching forms — Speed for the real form, damage for the armored one — and needs fewer acceleration stacks for an extra turn, so doubles and triples arrive much earlier; every two extra turns he also summons Kairos, which hits the whole enemy team and hands him yet another turn.
This is not the kind of game-breaking upgrade we saw with Seraphina, because Yoma had no room left to climb: he was already at the top. What he gained is consistency — everything he did before, he now does sooner, stronger and for longer, which is exactly what a unit who lives off chaining turns needed.
For players who just got him or are new to the game, Mephistopheles Yoma is still a great choice—he was already at the top of the meta without the Repaired Cloth and remains very viable. Of course, in the more competitive meta—like Jamir—he was seen a little less often, but with the RC, he should make more appearances. For PvE, he doesn’t work well against boss dungeons that require a lot of damage, but he can help you clear all the levels and many other dungeons.
Is the RC worth it? If Yoma is your main damage dealer, yes — it is a straight upgrade to a unit you already use. Even if you do not play him, the account-wide Pavilion bonus (extra HP and Physical Attack for every character) makes it a solid long-term investment. If you do not own him or have no Skill Books to spare, there is no rush: this is not a chase unit, it is an already excellent character that simply became more comfortable to use.
