Kaiju No. 8 The Game is a mobile RPG developed by Akatsuki Games, based on the "Kaiju No. 8" manga series. This is a fan wiki where you can find comprehensive guides, character information, and gameplay tips to help you survive monster encounters and progress through the game.
It's important to know that Kaiju No. 8 The Game is a gacha game. You have to summon characters, clear dungeons to get resources, and so on. The mechanics of fighting enemies are traditional turn-based RPG, with some modern additions, such as being able to use “Ultimates” when they are ready, support attacks, etc.
But overall, it's a gacha game where you collect characters and clear dungeons. The game has been out for a year, so the end-game content isn't that extensive or varied. The game does not feature PvP, nor is there any news about it.

★ Obtaining Duplicate Characters
When you obtain a character you already own, the duplicate copy will automatically be converted into Encounter Stones, Apatite Petals, and/or Talent Shards based on their rarity and how many times you've obtained them. Encounter Stones can be exchanged for various items in the Shop, while Talent Shards can be used to Ascend characters. Apatite Petals can be exchanged for select ★5 characters in the Shop.
