Kaiju No. 8 The Game Tier List

This tier list focuses on overall performance across PvE expectations. As the game evolves, the meta will shift and units will move between tiers. Characters are placed based on overall kit strength, team impact, and how consistently they perform in most content.

New modes have been added for end-game content, which means more high-level characters are needed. We need four teams of four characters, so the meta could include more units.

Similarly, a new character upgrade method called Unlock Potential has been added; this could bring older units back into the current meta.

Now, there are a few things to consider regarding the game. Kaiju N. The Game has been releasing up to three units per month, which makes it extremely difficult to keep track of everything in detail. However, the units that have been added to the game recently haven't been as strong as their predecessors. Still, they're useful, so most of the latest releases are in Tier 1 or 2.

Kaiju No. 8 The Game groups characters into three main roles:

• Attacker: Main damage dealers and burst specialists.
• Defender: Tanks, shielders, and frontline protectors.
• Supporter: Buffers, debuffers, and utility enablers.

[T0 Apex] The best units for most content.

[T1 Meta] Strong picks with high impact.

[T2 Solid] Reliable choices with minor limitations.

[T3 Situational] Useful in specific teams or fights.

[T4 Niche] Usually outclassed.

[T5 Filler] Mostly for filler units.

• Added new character: Wang Meixing (Pumpkin Star). A new supporter in the game. She is very good, but you need dupes for her and she is limited to some teams.
• Added new character: Soshiro Hoshina (Twin Swords Jiangshi). A new defender in the game. A new Hoshina, a really strong defender for the Halloween roster of characters.
• Added new character: Suited (Unorthodox Pursuit). A new Suited, yes. A new character that expands the Transcendence archetype. She's strong for a support character, but she lacks friendly units with which to reach her full potential.
• Added new character: Iharu Furuhashi (Flash-Fierce Talent). Iharu is a versatile attacker with high Additional Damage and good utility, and he is a non-limited character.
• Added new character: Kikoru Shinomiya (The Valkyries Successor). The new Kikoru is a mainstay for extra damage teams; she's very powerful and very strong, and even if she doesn't have the ideal team, she's still one of the best DPS characters in the game.
