Who is this? Iron Man? Eiji Hasegawa [Right-Hand Man of the Strongest] is a Blunt and Shot-type Attacker who focuses on self-sustained Critical buffs and Follow-Up damage. While he lacks the overwhelming scaling or team utility of higher-tier DPS units, he remains a straightforward and accessible damage dealer with reliable burst windows.
His Combat Skill allows him to inflict Stun, temporarily halting the enemy’s actions and delaying incoming attacks. Beyond its crowd-control utility, this skill also increases his CRIT DMG, directly amplifying his burst potential. The combination of disruption and damage amplification gives him situational value, especially in content where controlling enemy turns is important.
Eiji’s core mechanic revolves around accumulating Progress whenever an ally uses a Combat Skill or Follow-Up Skill. After reaching 5 Progress stacks, he can consume them to gain a CRIT Rate and damage buff that lasts for 2 turns. Since allies frequently trigger these conditions in standard rotations, his self-buff is easy to activate and maintain, making him beginner-friendly and consistent in most team setups.
Eiji’s kit revolves around his Progress mechanic, which stacks whenever allies use Combat or Follow-Up Skills. At 5 stacks, he gains a CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG buff. While this sounds promising on paper, the requirement of 5 stacks before gaining meaningful bonuses means his damage windows are delayed and inconsistent compared to Attackers who provide immediate impact.
His Powered Blow Combat Skill can inflict Stun, adding a small amount of utility. However, the numbers are underwhelming for an Attacker, and his DPS contribution rarely justifies a roster slot over higher-tier options. Eiji is usable in early-game content but should be replaced as soon as stronger Attackers become available. Don’t spend on him.
