Kikoru Shinomiya (The Valkyrie’s Successor) is a powerful Wind DPS whose kit revolves around Extra Attacks, Momentum, and Devotion stacks. Her damage potential is immediately impressive, especially thanks to her extremely high Ultimate multipliers and the enhanced version of her Ultimate, which can turn her into one of the game’s most explosive damage dealers. And yes, another Kikoru.

Her core mechanic, however, is also her biggest limitation. Kikoru gains Momentum when allies activate Extra Attacks, eventually transforming her Ultimate into an enhanced version once she reaches maximum stacks. This makes her heavily dependent on teammates that can consistently trigger Extra Attacks. In the right composition, she can build Momentum quickly and unleash devastating burst damage, but outside of that archetype, her rotation becomes noticeably less efficient.

Devotion adds another layer to her kit. Kikoru gains stacks through her turns and Ultimate usage, increasing her Extra Attack damage and allowing her to perform additional Blast attacks after using her Combat Skill or Ultimate. This gives her respectable multi-target pressure, although her damage is clearly focused on the primary target rather than adjacent enemies.

Her Ultimate is where she truly shines. Even the regular version has an enormous 546% multiplier against the main target (maxed), while the enhanced Ultimate pushes her burst potential even further with increased damage. She also gains bonuses that improve her performance against encounters with fewer enemies, making her particularly effective as a boss or single-target nuker.

The main advice is simple: Kikoru looks like an excellent investment if you already have a strong Extra Attack team. Characters capable of consistently feeding her Momentum will dramatically improve her performance. Without that support, she is still strong, but you may not be using her kit to its full potential.
