Mina Ashiro - Superb Combination is a good Attacker who excels at scaling her own damage during combat through strong synergy with her summoned companion, Bakko (ey little buddy). Her kit revolves around frequent Extra Attacks, Critical buffs, and self-enhancement, making her one of the most explosive DPS options for multi-enemy encounters.
Mina automatically summons Bakko at the start of battle, and his turns are a core part of her damage cycle. When Bakko acts, Mina gains a CRIT Rate increase and also receives a Shield, improving both her offensive consistency and survivability without relying on external support. This makes her particularly effective in longer or high-pressure fights.
Her Ultimate places her into the Combined Forces state, which dramatically elevates her damage potential. While this state is active, Mina performs an Extra Attack every time Bakko takes a turn, dealing damage to a target Kaiju and any adjacent enemies. This allows her to function as a hybrid single-target and splash-damage dealer, especially effective against clustered small-sized Kaiju.
Mina can further optimize her damage output by accelerating Bakko’s Action Order using her Combat Skill. Increasing Bakko’s turn frequency directly translates into more Extra Attacks, making proper timing and buff uptime crucial for maximizing her DPS ceiling. When Combined Forces and her buffs overlap, Mina can unleash sustained bursts of high damage in rapid succession.
Mina’s Ascensions significantly enhance her performance. At A1, she gains increased CRIT DMG before using Combat Skills or her Ultimate; at A2, she extends the duration of Combined Forces and gains DEF PEN after Extra Attacks; and at A6, she further extends her CRIT Rate buffs and gains additional CRIT DMG while her HP is above 70%. These upgrades push her damage output to an elite level.
