Mina Ashiro [Off the Scale] is a Shot-type Attacker who specializes in devastating single-target damage, making her one of the strongest options for boss-focused content. Her kit revolves around building Focus stacks through Normal Attacks and Combat Skills, which allow her to unleash guaranteed Critical Hits every three actions on top of her already high base damage.

Mina excels as a critical damage dealer. By consuming 3 Focus stacks, she guarantees a Critical Hit, letting her bypass RNG and consistently deal massive damage. With proper buffs, Uniparts, and weapon synergy, she can easily function as the team’s main DPS, especially in longer encounters where her damage ramps up steadily.

She is also highly self-sufficient, as her Combat Skill grants her DMG Dealt and Normal Attack buffs, allowing her to increase her own firepower without relying heavily on support characters. This makes Mina easy to slot into many team compositions while still delivering top-tier damage output.

Mina truly shines against giant-class Kaiju. Her Passive Skill increases the damage she deals to giant enemies, making her exceptionally effective in story missions and high-difficulty boss stages. In these scenarios, her guaranteed Critical Hits allow her to tear through enemy HP bars with impressive speed.

However, HP management is crucial to maximizing Mina’s performance. Her ATK increases while her HP is at 80% or higher, so pairing her with a Defender or reliable healer is important to maintain her peak damage potential. Additionally, since her attacks are primarily single-target, she is less effective against waves of small-sized Kaiju and is best reserved for boss encounters.
