Queen Persefone

Queen Persephone is one of the best tanks in the game. If not the best. The queen of the underworld only needs to take the field to do her job: reduce the opponent's maximum HP at the end of each turn, place the seed that records the damage, increase the HP of our allies, and when the time comes, unleash the damage on the enemies.

She is an excellent unit, but she has some problems in the current meta. As a tank, she protects the team by absorbing damage, which is very good, but not so much with so much area damage, which can cause her premature death. Also, there is a lot of control, which can prevent her from activating her second skill at the right time. But the most difficult thing is that we have to invest a lot of skill books to get her full potential.

Pros

  • Easy to use, just need timing.
  • Her passive ability always executes.
  • One of the best Tanks/Supports in game
  • Her seeds and HP bonus are guaranteed.

Cons

  • If controlled, we can't use the second skill and that is a bummer.
  • Really, really expensive.

Skill Descriptions

Skill 1

Seed of the Earth

Lv1Lv2Lv3Lv4Lv5

Has a 60% chance of sowing an Underworld Seed in one specific enemy Saint, dealing damage equal to 40% C.ATK plus 2% of Persephone's Max HP. Once the seed is sown in said Saint's body, it will record the total damage they take from then on (the maximum damage recorded will be 50% of Persephone's Max HP). The seed cannot be purified. Its effect will last for as long as the battle goes on. Underworld Seed: A sprouting parasitic seed from the Underworld. After the affected enemy Saint makes their move, they will receive 1 instance of true damage equal to the total damage recorded by the seed. If said enemy Saint is defeated, the enemy units before or after them according to speed will be sown with new Underworld Seeds. Each Saint can only be sown with one seed.

Skill 2

Harvest Song

Lv1Lv2Lv3Lv4Lv5

Persephone swings her sickle to deal damage equal to 100% C.ATK plus 4% of her Max HP to all enemies. As she starts singing the harvest song of the Underworld, all Underworld Seeds inside the enemy Saints' bodies have a 60% chance of sprouting and dealing damage once. Sprouted Underworld Seeds cannot be purified.

Skill 3

Rejuvenation - Awakening

Lv1Lv2Lv3Lv4Lv5

When Queen Persephone is deployed, all allies' single-damage taken will not exceed 40% of their Max HP. Any damage beyond this is borne by Persephone (90%) and recorded by Earth Seed (10%). Each time Persephone takes damage, generates 1 stack of Shield equal to 5% of Persephone's initial HP (this Shield lasts 1 turn and can only be triggered 3 times per round.) At the start of each round, Persephone sows a seed to a random Saint on the field (excluding herself). If the target is an enemy, the seed is [Earth Seed]. If an ally, it's a [Life Seed], which permanently increases that Saint's Max HP by 8%.

Skill 4

Life Reaper

Lv1Lv2Lv3Lv4Lv5

When Persephone is present, all enemy Saints will lose 6% of their Max HP at the end of every round. (Each Saint will lose no more than 15% of Persephone's initial HP in total. Once the maximum loss is exceeded, the enemy units shall stop losing Max HP, but their lost Max HP cannot be restored through Revival or Deprivation.) The lost HP is then converted and added to Persephone's Max HP (the increase will not exceed 90% of her initial Max HP) till the battle ends.
