Review

Gemini Defteros is an excellent unit, but his biggest value is not raw DPS at the start of the fight. His real strength is tactical tempo: Another Dimension lets him manipulate turn order by swapping positions with an ally or enemy, which makes him one of the strongest enablers for combo openers and priority-target setups.

When built for speed, he can dictate the pace of the match and create windows where the whole team performs better. At the same time, Supernova - Awakened gives him natural scaling during combat, and Galaxy Explosion eventually transitions into Dark Lava Eruption, so his damage ceiling becomes threatening once the rotation is online. That is why, after the Awakened Cloth, he stopped being only a utility pick and became a real dual-purpose threat.

The only real requirement is heavy speed investment in cosmos, but if you can meet that condition, Defteros is absolutely worth it and remains a must-have unit for many lineups.

Defteros casts Galaxy Explosion, dealing 100% C.DMG to all enemies with a 30% chance of adding 1 stack of Supernova. With each enemy killed, the damage he inflicts will increase by 20%, with a 50% chance of adding 1 stack of Supernova.

Supernova - Awakened

At the beginning of the battle, inflicts 1 stack of Supernova on all enemies. For each enemy that dies, gains 1 Supernova point. After an enemy unit affected with Supernova takes action, gains 1 Supernova point from them and permanently increases Defteros' ATK by 1% and HP Steal by 0.2% with no stack limit. Meanwhile, with every 6 Supernova points gathered, casts Galaxy Explosion once at no cost. Depending on the total amount of Supernova points gathered, gains the following abilities: Once 5 Supernova points are gathered, recovers 50% of Defteros' Max HP. Once 20 Supernova points are gathered, casts Dark Lava Eruption instead of Galaxy Explosion.
