Sleep Angel Toma
Profile Update

After the Awakened Cloth, Sleep Angel Toma has become one of the most feared burst damage units in the current meta. His entire playstyle revolves around one thing: deleting enemy units before they can even react. Unlike characters that deal damage through combos or repeated hits, Toma is a pure one-shot attacker capable of instantly removing key targets with a single devastating strike.

Because of this, most competitive teams built around Toma focus heavily on tempo and immediate turn manipulation rather than raw Speed stats on the character himself. The goal is simple: give Toma instant turns before the enemy team can establish defenses, shields, freezes, or sustain. If opponents are allowed to stabilize, Toma’s effectiveness drops significantly.

One of the best things about Rebirth Toma is how inexpensive he is compared to many modern meta units. His minimum functional setup is surprisingly cheap, just focus on the DPS Skills. His summon-related effects are rarely relevant in aggressive compositions, which means players can safely ignore some upgrades and still get excellent performance from him.

In actual PvP matches, Toma’s performance can look terrifying. Under equal account conditions, he is capable of instantly deleting even tanky meta units. When combined with immediate-turn supports, his pressure becomes overwhelming from the very first round.

However, Toma is far from unbeatable. Defensive counters already exist, and units like Persephone can completely absorb his opening burst. If Toma fails to secure early kills, enemy sustain compositions can quickly take over the match. Serafina is another major problem for him because freezes and constant battlefield control prevent Toma from maintaining offensive momentum. Once crowd control and defensive rotations start stacking, his aggressive strategy begins to collapse.

Despite that weakness, Awakened Cloth Sleep Angel Toma remains one of the scariest offensive units available right now. His ability to instantly erase enemies with minimal setup makes him a massive threat in PvP, especially when paired with meta supports that enable repeated turns and energy acceleration.

Pros

  • Extremely powerful one-shot damage
  • Can instantly eliminate key enemy units
  • Easy to build compared to many meta characters
  • Strong synergy with immediate-turn teams
  • Does not require heavy Speed investment

Cons

  • Falls off hard if enemies survive the opening burst
  • Vulnerable to sustain and defensive teams
  • Hard countered by units like Persephone
  • Struggles heavily against crowd control

Skill Descriptions

Skill 1

Fist of Angels

Lv1Lv2Lv3Lv4Lv5

Strikes the target, deals P.DMG equal to 60% P.ATK, and permanently increases self P.CRIT Level by 100 and P.CRIT Effect by 4% (dispellable)

Skill 2

Supreme Heaven Glory

Lv1Lv2Lv3Lv4Lv5

Channels all the power into fists, and attacks the enemy with full strength: deals P.DMG equal to 200% P.ATK, and this attack is guaranteed to be a crit. Meanwhile, increases the final DMG of the attack by self P.CRIT Level *0.02% and marks the enemy (lasts 1 round). After the attack, Toma prepares to strike again at any moment: for every 4 points of energy each side uses, Toma inflicts a Weaken effect on marked enemies (increases enemies' DMG taken by 15% for 1 action turn), and releases [Supreme Heavenly Glory] again to the target. This effect can be triggered only once each round.

Skill 3

Phantom of Old Times

Lv1Lv2Lv3Lv4Lv5

At the start of each round, based on the HP ratio of Toma, summons different Phantom of Old Times which inherits 50% Toma's attributes. When the HP ratio of Toma is above or equal to 60%, summons Phantom of Artemis. When that is less than 60%, summons Phantom of Marin. The skill level of the Phantom grows with this skill. [Phantom Moon] Infuses the target with Phantom Moon, records 10% of the target's DMG taken, and releases it to deal damage after the target takes action. (Damage recorded cannot exceed 300% of Phantom of Artemis’ P.ATK). [Divine Chain of Artemis] For every 4 basic attack allies make, Toma makes 1 basic attack to the enemy with the lowest HP, with 25% chance to impose chains restraint on the enemy and then reduces their speed by 10% (lasts for 2 turns). [Strike of the Condor] Recovers HP equal to 15% of lost HP for Toma. [Protection of Eagle] Shares 6% DMG taken by Toma. And recovers 10% of Marin's remaining HP to Toma.

Skill 4

Full Moon Fight | Awakening

Lv1Lv2Lv3Lv4Lv5

At the start of each round, there will be a Full Moon icon above Toma's head. Saints (except for Toma) can, during their own turns, gift their current action turn to Toma by clicking on the icon. This action takes effect immediately. If the current Saint has multiple actions, Toma will act immediately after the current Saint completes their actions. After gaining extra turns, Toma increases his P.ATK by 30% and P.CRIT Level by 200 for 1 turn.
