Virgo Asmita has always been one of the most versatile support units in Saint Seiya Awakening, but his biggest weakness was reliability. His kit offered cleansing, control, anti-revival, shielding, and team utility, yet too many of those effects depended on chance. His Rebirth significantly improves that consistency, turning him into a much more dependable option for both long battles and certain combo compositions.
With the Repaired Cloth and the Awakening Skill, the most important upgrade is his 100% chance to cleanse one random debuff when an ally takes action. The debuff removed is still random, so Asmita cannot always save the exact effect you want, but guaranteeing some cleansing is a major improvement over his previous 50% chance. He also reaches his Sapindus thresholds more quickly, unlocking additional effects such as a shield, a 21% Attack reduction against the enemy with the highest Attack, and the ability to remove a random enemy shield.
His anti-revival utility remains one of his strongest assets. At higher Sapindus thresholds, enemies are heavily limited in how much HP they can recover upon revival, while his Heavenly Treasure can eventually become guaranteed and bypass resistance checks. Combined with its silence and anti-revival effects, this gives Asmita exceptional value against resurrection-heavy teams.
The Rebirth’s most spectacular mechanic—reviving all fallen allies after accumulating nine Reincarnation stacks—is much less practical. Reaching that point requires an extremely long battle, and Asmita himself may not survive long enough to trigger it. Still, the more accessible bonuses are strong enough to make the Rebirth worthwhile.
Overall, Virgo Asmita’s Rebirth is a meaningful upgrade rather than a simple stat boost. He becomes a more consistent and flexible support. This character does a lot of things on the battlefield, but he does them well. The Virgo Saint is one of the most powerful support units in the game; Asmita can partially suppress powerful units like Seraphina, apply anti-resurrection effects, limit energy usage, and deploy shields—all for 1 energy point and passively. An excellent unit and excellent support.
