Divine Cloth Shiryu is one of the main characters in Saint Seiya, and a pretty decent tank unit in the game. Our beloved Dragon places his shield and protects the fastest and slowest allies relative to him. He absorbs their damage and, best of all, counterattacks with his basic attack. He's a tank that counterattacks.
And he's excellent because absorbing damage gives him synergy with units like Divine Shun, who protects him from damage, making him a very efficient damage reducer. Unfortunately for our friend Dragon, his damage scales with his remaining HP, which always puts him close to death (unless he has a healer helping him), and in the current meta there is a lot of area damage, so it is common to see him die quickly if there are no teammates to help him. Likewise, control completely nullifies him and he has no out-of-turn moves except his counterattack. He is a good unit, but he also requires 3 energy. He can be played with meta units such as Camus Sapuri and Hasgard, among others, but it is not common to see him in the meta anymore.
Pros
- Good defensive unit
- Its counterattacks can do a lot of damage
- It can hold a formation defensively.
Cons
- The AoE damage from the current metal affects it greatly.
- Its defense may no longer be sufficient.
- Its damage is not as effective as before.
- Control hurts it too much.
- Requires 3 energy.
