Interesting things are happening with Leo Kaiser. On paper, he's a good character, the cornerstone that allows summons to wreak havoc on the field and attack the opponent many times. There are powerful summons, such as DeathMask's, and even Goldie herself, who assists him on the battlefield.

However, he can't seem to find his place, he isn't used much, and the fact is that there has never been a Summons meta, they are always complementary units. So Kaiser's role is quite limited. He could rise if a great summon comes along that changes the meta, but until then, he is a niche Saint.

Pros

Has an interesting skill set.
Improves teams with summon characters.

Cons

There is no summon meta.
Outside of summon teams, it doesn't work as well.
Goldie's attacks are random.
Insufficient damage.

Thunder Bolt

Deals P.DMG equal to 80% P.ATK to a single target, with a 30% chance to deal an additional instance of damage that comes with another 30% chance to deal additional instances of damage (up to 2 instances of damage). Apart from dealing damage alongside its master, Goldie will launch additional attacks on Kaiser's target with [Lion's Claw], which is dependent on the total number of instances of damage of this basic attack.

Kaiser deals 3 instances of P.DMG equal to 60% P.ATK each to a single target, removing hard-control effects (Stun, Restrict, Nightmare, Freeze, Black Ice, Sleep, Petrification, etc.) and purifying debuffs on all summoned units in his lineup. He will also order them to attack the enemy once.

Summoning Goldie - Awakened

Kaiser summons Goldie when the battle begins. The lion will inherit 70% of his battle attributes and gain the ability to cast skills such as [Lion's Claw], [Raging Bite], and [Lion's Hunt] at the same level as [Summoning Goldie]. At the beginning of each round, Kaiser will summon Goldie again. Each time [Lion's Claw] is cast, Goldie will follow up with an additional [Raging Bite] attack on the main target of [Lion's Claw]. This effect can be triggered up to 3 times per turn. When Goldie uses [Raging Bite], the damage will be converted to true damage. This effect can be triggered once per turn. [Lion's Claw] Goldie deals P.DMG equal to 50% of P.ATK to its target while increasing the damage they take by 2% (lasts for 2 action rounds; can be stacked up to 5 stacks; can be purified). [Raging Bite] Deals P.DMG equal to 6% of Max HP to the target (will not exceed 400% of Goldie's P.ATK). [Lion's Hunt] After a summoned unit in his lineup launches a physical attack, Goldie has a 70% chance to assist it by casting [Raging Bite]. This effect can be triggered up to 2 times in a round.

The bond that Kaiser shares with Goldie allows them to support each other in a battle: When Kaiser deals damage, Goldie will recover HP equal to 20% of damage dealt by Kaiser (overhealing will be converted to a Shield that does not exceed 10% of Goldie's Max HP). Similarly, when Goldie deals damage, Kaiser will recover HP equal to 20% of damage dealt by Goldie (overhealing will be converted to a Shield that does not exceed 10% of Kaiser's Max HP). As long as Kaiser is around, he shall grant all summoned units in his lineup 5% x (the number of summoned units) DMG boost (up to 2 stacks), and provide half the DMG boost to all ally units.
