Taurus Francisca enters Saint Seiya Awakening as a damage-reflection specialist built around controlling a single target through his signature Bullring skill. On paper, Francisca offers a mix of sustain, soft control, and punishment—mark one enemy, reduce their outgoing damage, reflect part of what they deal, and eventually stun them after their turn.
In practice, though, Francisca feels far more situational than impressive. His kit works best when the enemy relies on high burst damage, since that is when his reflection actually becomes noticeable. Against heavy hitters, he can punish aggression decently and survive longer than expected thanks to his sustain and defensive tools. Taurus Francisca is also fairly durable for a utility-focused unit, which gives him some room to function in longer matches.
The problem is consistency. Francisca reflection only becomes truly relevant in specific matchups, and outside of those, his impact feels underwhelming. Against shield-heavy teams or defensive setups, his reflected damage often feels negligible. Worse, current meta control skills can heavily interfere with his core mechanic, making him much less reliable in practice than he looks in theory.
Right now, Taurus Francisca looks more like a niche counterpick than a must-build unit. He has some interesting anti-burst utility and decent survivability, but his reflection-based identity still feels too inconsistent to justify heavy investment.
Pros
- Has some abilities that improve his survivability
- There aren't many units that reflect damage and can apply Stun
Cons
- Damage reflection isn't enough in this meta with so many shields.
- Requires a lot of Skill Books to reflect damage effectively.
- Very situational; depends heavily on the opponent's lineup
- Very vulnerable to control, and this is a control meta.
