Cancer Manigoldo is one of those beloved characters. Perhaps the most popular Gold Saint in Lost Canvas, thanks to his fight against the twin gods. And in the game? He’s a good unit. He’s a DPS with healing abilities who deals AoE damage. And he can also gain immunity.

Manigoldo’s abilities aren’t hard to understand. He’s a hybrid DPS/Healer who can gain immunity and deal a fair amount of damage. The first thing we’ll do is activate his field, which grants us immunity. As opponents take damage, they accumulate marks, which we can then burst with the DPS skill while healing ourselves. But as you can see, opponents must accumulate those marks while taking damage. Back in the day, the damage output was very good; however, with so much defense these days, it’s a bit more complicated.

He has what it takes to be a winner, yet he is not used in the top meta. This is because his damage multipliers are not sufficient for the current meta. However, he still works quite well for mid-range fights and is easy to build in cosmos (priorize HP).

Acubens Pincers

Manigoldo attacks an enemy with Cancer's pincers, dealing C.DMG equal to 10% of his Max HP. With every 1% of Max HP the target has lost, the damage taken by the target increases by 1% (will not exceed 800% of Manigoldo's C.ATK).

Praesepe Underworld Waves

Gathers the power of Yomotsu Hirasaka and deals C.DMG equal to 8% of Manigoldo's Max HP to all enemies (will not exceed 400% of his C.ATK). Manigoldo will also weaken the links between their souls and bodies for 3 rounds; if the enemies heal themselves, and their HP is restored to over 90% (decreases by 5% each round when Manigoldo's skill is still in effect), healing exceeding that percentage will be reduced by 70%. Cooldown time: 2 rounds. Basic Control Immunity: Immune to most control effects (with the exception of Bind and Exile).

Praesepe Soul Burial Waves- Awakened

Manigoldo detonates the spirits around him, dealing C.DMG equal to 10% of his Max HP and restoring HP equal to 10% of his Max HP to all ally units. Meanwhile, he will detonate all the [Phosphorus Beads] on the battlefield at once. Every [Phosphorus Bead] increases DMG and healing effect by 10% each. (DMG will not exceed 1500% of Manigoldo's C.ATK) Every detonated [Phosphorus Bead] also locks 2% of the enemy's Max HP. Locked HP cannot be recovered and is counted as lost. This effect lasts for two rounds. [Praesepe Demonic Blue Flames] After the last unit takes action in the current round, the souls of all units affected by [Praesepe Underworld Waves] will be incinerated and receive true damage equal to 8% of Manigoldo's Max HP after (will not exceed 400% of Cancer's C.ATK). With each Phosphorus Bead the target has, their damage taken increases by 5%.

With every 25% of the enemy's initial Max HP lost, their aura of death will transform into a [Phosphorus Bead]. Each enemy Saint can have up to 3 Phosphorus Beads. Manigoldo will absorb the power of their souls from the beads to strengthen himself. Every Phosphorus Bead generated increases his P.DMG Res, C.DMG Res, Max HP, and C.ATK by 4% each (up to 5 stacks). When [Praesepe Soul Burial Waves] detonates the Phosphorus Beads, Manigoldo will reduce the targets' Crit Level and C.DMG Multiplier by 6% each as well as their Max HP by 4% (up to 3 stacks).
