Deathtoll is a very fun unit to watch and use, but it currently has limited utility. It can provide interesting control while hitting all enemies in an area. Combined with a debuff cosmos, it can be a great debuffer. It is currently used to slow down rival teams and make them susceptible and weak against combo teams. Therefore, it is very dependent on the allies it has.
With maxed skills, Deathtoll’s Peach Bomber deals 240% P.DMG to the main target applying 6 Lesser Wind stacks, then spreads to neighbors for 220% P.DMG + 5 stacks, and finally to all remaining enemies for 200% P.DMG + 4 stacks. The Coffin of Silence has a 90% chance to imprison a target for up to 8 ally actions, dealing 100% P.DMG per enemy action on the coffin. In Peach Form, he becomes immune to control for 3 rounds, gains +30% P.DEF and C.DEF, +20% P.ATK, and auto-casts Peach Bomber on the fastest enemy during odd rounds. Each Lesser Wind stack on enemies also grants him 0.5% P.DMG Res and C.DMG Res.
Deathtoll was widely used in combos where you needed to slow down the opposing team, but these days, its use has dropped significantly, and it’s no longer seen in tournaments or PvP. It remains an interesting unit for the mid-game and mid-level PvP.
