Vouivre Garnet
Profile Update

Vouivre Garnet is an S-rank support unit designed around protection rather than raw power. During early testing, she initially feels underwhelming because her abilities are straightforward: she provides shields, healing, and a unique Children of the Gems mechanic. However, after a few matches, it becomes clear that her true value depends heavily on the team built around her instead of her own individual strength.

Her most important ability is marking allies as Children of Gems. These linked allies receive healing whenever they deal damage, while Garnet’s basic attack restores HP to every linked teammate at once. Since the marks do not expire, she can gradually spread them across the team, improving her sustain as the battle continues. Her shield skill also costs only 1 Energy, making it extremely efficient to maintain damage reduction without disrupting your rotation.

The biggest surprise is her interaction with multiple-turn allies. Every extra action gives Garnet additional opportunities to assign Gem marks and trigger her passive effects, making characters like Seraphina, Tenma, or Yoma particularly effective partners. She naturally fits defensive compositions that want to survive long fights while continuously generating shields and healing.

Despite these strengths, Garnet struggles to stand out in the current meta. Her healing is consistent but not game-changing, her shields are useful without being exceptional, and she contributes almost no direct offensive pressure. Throughout testing, victories often came from the team’s existing core rather than Garnet herself, making her feel more like a complementary support than a centerpiece. Even her self-revive offers survivability, but it rarely changes the outcome of a match on its own.

Overall, Vouivre Garnet is a situational support with respectable utility but limited excitement. She performs exactly what her kit promises—continuous protection and sustain—but nothing beyond that. Unless future team compositions unlock stronger synergies, she currently looks like a safe but skippable unit for most players, while dedicated defensive-team enthusiasts will still find worthwhile value in her toolkit.

+ Pros

  • Excellent sustain through repeated healing and shields.
  • Low Energy required for her primary support skill.
  • Strong synergy with extra-turn characters like Seraphina.
  • Difficult to target while allies are linked.
  • Fits naturally into defensive and control-oriented teams.

Cons

  • Shields and healing feel solid but not impactful enough.
  • Highly dependent on specific team compositions.
  • Slow to reach maximum effectiveness.
  • She needs to be fast, double speed cosmos.
  • Currently feels like a safe skip unit unless you specifically enjoy defensive strategies.

Skill Descriptions

Skill 1

Enchanting Voice

Lv1Lv2Lv3Lv4Lv5

Vouivre deals 100% C. DMG to all enemy Saints and restores HP equal to 4% Max HP for all [Children of Gems]. Enemies hit enter [Enchantment] status. [Enchantment]: For 1 round, all direct damage dealt by enemy Saints to [Vouivre] is converted into healing. This effect can be purified. If no enemies are affected by this effect, or only 1 enemy remains, this effect is replaced by a heal equal to 30% Max HP for [Vouivre].

Skill 2

Merciful Earth Mother

Lv1Lv2Lv3Lv4Lv5

Vouivre consumes 25% current HP (this cannot cause death; if it would be fatal, retains 1 HP instead) to grant all allied Cases a Shield equal to 50% actual HP lost. All [Children of Gems] affected by this skill gain the [Gem Box] effect. [Gem Box]: Grants 15% DMG Bonus for 1 round.

Skill 3

Gem Box

Lv1Lv2Lv3Lv4Lv5

At the start of her turn, Vouivre designates 1 allied Saint as the [Child of Gems]. [Children of Gems] heal both themselves and Vouivre for 10% of direct damage dealt. Any healing that exceeds Vouivre's current HP is converted into C.DMG against enemies at 20% of the overflow amount, triggered after the current Saint's action ends. [Children of Gems] is removed upon Vouivre's death. Entering [Gem Life] state does not count as death. [Direct Damage]: Includes basic attacks and skill damage. DoT from buffs and damage from summons do not count as direct damage.

Skill 4

Eternal Life

Lv1Lv2Lv3Lv4Lv5

While any allied Saint is in the [Child of Gems] status, enemies cannot select Vouivre as the primary target of skills. The first time Vouivre takes fatal DMG in battle, enters [Gem Life] status instead, retaining 40% Initial Max HP but becoming unable to act. At the start of the next round, if the [Gem Life] status still has remaining HP, Vouivre revives with 20% Initial Max HP (this effect can only trigger once per battle).
