Review

Surplice Aries Shion is an excellent defensive unit. He is the only one who can activate a reflective shield, has a passive ability that reduces the damage taken by our allies in the first two rounds, an attack that debuffs the enemy, and can remain on the field after dying, for at least a couple of rounds.

He is an excellent unit when it comes to defending, the great enemy of single-target DPS. His shield, at maximum level, takes 5 hits to disappear. And in a meta of shields over HP, these must disappear first. However, he has fallen a little short as control affects him greatly, as well as the AoE damage that abounds in today's game.

Pros

Easy to use.
A nuisance for single target DPS.
Can debuff and block the progress of a rival unit.

Has defensive passives for the team.

Cons

Control limits it greatly.
Its active damage skill requires two energy.
Its active damage is not very high.

When placed on an ally, Nether Crystal Wall blocks 2 damages, with a 50% chance to reflect each damage (with 40% less damage). Each successful reflect increases the damage of Nether Stardust Revolution by 1% permanently, up to 100%.

Deals 150% P.DMG to an enemy. Before casting, Surplice Shion absorbs 1% ATK from all enemies (based on their max ATK) as his own P.ATK and puts enemies under shutdown. [Shutdown]: During shutdown, target cannot benefit from buffs for one action round (buffs include: attribute increase, HP recovery, Rage increase, Psychokinesis increase, Extra moves and damage reduction). This cannot be purified.

Nether Endless Starlight - Awakening

Surplice Shion infuses his allies with starlight, which protects them and decreases the damage they take by 5% (including true damage) for the first 3 instances of attacks. After Surplice Shion dies, the starlight will condense and recreate his body for 2 action rounds. It will disappear after getting attacked 2 times. When Surplice Shion and his allies take C.DMG, their C.DMG Res will increase by 3%; when taking P.DMG, their P.DMG Res will increase by 3%; when taking true damage, their DMG Reduction will increase by 2%. Only one of these three effects will take effect at a time, and they can be changed up to 5 times per round. Once the power of Nether Endless Starlight on the allies is completely used up, it has a 50% chance of adding two stacks of Nether Crystal Wall for Surplice Shion.
