Hypnos, God of Sleep, when Hypnos came out in the game a few years ago, was a very functional unit, countering many units in the meta. In fact, he could still do that today. But even after getting his Awakened Cloth, he still can't find a place in the meta. The fact is that his skill, which is very good, is not enough at this point in time, when there are too many units in Saint Seiya Awakening that move out of turn.
Hypnos' healing isn't that high, and an enemy AoE can do a lot of damage, so he's a character who deals DoT damage. Each hit charges enemy units like Thanatos or Seraphina, which are very meta. He can slow down enemies or reduce their defense if we use him with the right cosmos, and even focus on damaging them. But he's not the best at any of these roles and can't do them all at the same time. We have to choose which card we want to activate: healing, slowing, or damage. This makes him less versatile. For the current meta, Hypnos needs some adjustments.
Pros
- Easy to use, has a passive skill which improves him a lot
- Can heal, control and make damage
- Counters many meta units
Cons
- His skills aren't enought powerful for today Meta.
- Expensive to build in cosmos, needs to be fast.
