Bennu Kagaho is a stylish unit with a clear Burn identity, and his kit has interesting synergy between pressure and disruption. Corona Blast and Black Sun keep Burn uptime active across the enemy team, while Black Flames gradually amplifies that damage profile and turns long rounds into favorable trades.

His issue in current meta is not concept, but tempo. Crucify Ankh - Awakened can generate strong swing moments through Soul Lock setup, sustain, and defensive break windows, but the character usually needs time and investment before reaching that point. In fast matches, or against high-control openers, his plan can be interrupted before the Burn engine fully stabilizes.

Because of that, Kagaho still works better as a specialist pick for mid-tier accounts or planned Burn compositions than as a universal priority investment. He is good and can perform in combo teams, but compared to top-tier DPS options, he asks for more Skill Books to reach impact that other units deliver with less setup. But the character model is top, one of the best looking designs in the game.

Deals C.DMG equal to 80% C.ATK to a single target, adding 1 stack of Burn and resetting the effect duration. Burn: Deals 60% C.DMG to the enemy in each action round; the effect will last for 2 action rounds (up to 5 stacks).

Deals 1 instance of C.DMG equal to 100% C.ATK to all enemies, adding 1 stack of Burn, resetting the effect duration, and triggering Burn damage for all enemies once.

When Kagaho is on the battlefield, he constantly releases Black Flames. After an enemy unit takes action, they will gain 1 stack of Black Flames. Black Flames: Each stack increases the Burn damage taken by the enemy by 5%, can be stacked 5 times. (Can be purified; lasts for 2 rounds.)

Crucify Ankh - Awakened

At the start of every odd-numbered round, adds 1 stack of Black Flames to all enemies. Whenever the stack count of Black Flames on an enemy unit reaches 5, Kagaho will cast [Soul Lock] on them (CD: 3 rounds for each unit; cannot be purified or stacked; the skill effect lasts throughout the battle but will be removed after it is triggered). [Soul Lock]: When this skill is cast, the target loses 3 stacks of Black Flames, and Kagaho and his allies each recover HP equal to 10% of their Max HP, with excess healing converted into a shield. Reduces the target's P.DEF and C.DEF by 20% for 1 turn, adds 2 stacks of Burn and 1 stack of [Soul Lock Brand]. With each Energy spent on this skill, the base damage multiplier of the next [Black Sun] will increase by 20% (up to 3 stacks). [Soul Lock Brand]: Each stack of Brand increases Burn C.DMG equal to 5% of the target's current HP (not exceeding 150% of Kagaho's C.ATK). Maximum 5 stacks, each stack lasts for 4 rounds, cannot be purified.
