Garuda Aiacos is the S unit for January on the Global server. It is a support, DPS character with high damage. The new Aiacos basically serves to give an ally an extra accelerated turn, reducing their energy consumption to 0 and dealing damage at the same time. But Aiacos played with Aioros Divine Cloth or Defteros can do this more than once, in a kind of loop combo. Not an infinite number of times, though. Of course, this comes at a cost: we subtract HP from allies, so it's a weapon that carries a small risk. Aiacos has buffs to increase his survivability and is generally a character with good resistance..

It wouldn't be a bad idea to see him in more traditional lineups either. Is he a Defteros 2.0? A little bit, yes, he's not as fast and doesn't do as much damage in the long run, but reducing consumption to 0 and having his own survival mechanics can give him a place in the Meta.

Aiacos selects an allied Saint, consumes 15% of their maximum HP, and hurls them at all enemy Saints to deal C.DMG equal to 150% of Aiacos's C.ATK plus the amount of HP consumed by the hurled Saint to all enemy Saints. The hurled allied Saint immediately gains an Extra Move that doesn't consume Energy, with this action consuming HP based on the action type: [Basic ATK]: Consumes 10% maximum HP. [Skill]: Consumes 15% maximum HP, with each reduced Energy consuming an additional 5% maximum HP. When the hurled Saint is unable to act, HP consumption is not triggered. This skill can provide up to 3 Extra Moves per battle turn. When the Extra Move limit is reached, the HP consumption damage boost effect still applies. When no allied Saint can be selected, Aiacos only deals 150% C.DMG.

Aiacos opens his demonic eye. When Aiacos casts [Indra's Firebolts] or is targeted by an enemy Saint's ability, he absorbs 6% of their maximum HP and applies 1 stack of [Burn] when enemies target Aiacos. [Burn]: Before the afflicted Saint acts, each stack deals 80% C.DMG. Lasts 2 turns, max 5 stacks. HP Cap Absorption: Reduces the target's maximum HP by a percentage and increases own maximum HP by the same percentage. Max 5 stacks. This effect directly modifies maximum HP and cannot be purified. Absorbed HP cannot exceed 500% of Aiacos' C.ATK.

When Aiacos' maximum HP exceeds 130% of his base HP, he immediately gains the [Demon General] status. [Demon General]: Gains C.ATK bonus equal to 6% of current maximum HP exceeding the base HP, and has a 20% chance to trigger additional C.DMG equal to 150% of Aiacos' C.ATK against all enemy Saints after using Basic ATK or skills.
