Cancer Deathmask is a character with a summon-based kit centered on wraith management. Praesepe Underworld Waves and Yomutsu Hirasaka - Awakened generate stacks of wraiths, and Praesepe Soul Burial Waves can convert those wraiths into AoE damage or healing depending on the target. On paper, that gives him both DPS and utility options, and his Awakened progression can even grant extra turns and large stat boosts after enough wraiths are generated.
In real matches, however, the setup is slow, the payoff is inconsistent, and his numbers are not competitive against modern units. The summons also add visual and performance load on weaker devices while still failing to provide enough pressure or reliable sustain. It is an old unit, not worth building for current content, and it has never been a stable meta pick.
