Lycaon Phlegyas is a defensive support that protects one key ally while adding chip pressure through follow-up attacks. At max skill, Howling Inferno gives the chosen teammate a shield worth 30% of Phlegyas' max HP for 2 rounds, and every normal attack from that ally triggers Phlegyas to assist with Roar from Hell against all enemies. His passive protection layer is the real point of the kit: he can intercept directional attacks aimed at the inspired ally and also convert part of the damage he blocks into bonus damage for his next Roar from Hell.
This makes him a useful niche option for slower teams or beginner rosters that rely on one important carry and want extra protection without spending too much energy. The downside is that his impact is very matchup-dependent, his damage is modest, and his third skill data looks incomplete in the current file, so his endgame value is limited compared with more modern protectors. He is playable as a budget bodyguard, but mostly outside high-level PvP.
