Balron Lune is an excellent support unit, especially inside Burn compositions. His core value comes from keeping Burn pressure active with Final Verdict, then using Reincarnation to either purge and empower an ally or strip an enemy while extending debuff tempo. In control-heavy fights, Necronomicon - Awakening gives him strong personal stability and lets him keep contributing even when the match becomes chaotic.
The limitation is execution speed. Most of his impact is tied to turn order and setup windows, so his cleanse and buff cycle can feel slow compared to more immediate supports. Flames of Balrog and Fire Whip can convert him into a more offensive profile if the fight gives him time, but that shift usually reduces his consistency as a pure support. Overall, he is still very good in Burn teams, but his damage and tempo are not always enough for faster metas.
In the current tier context, this explains why he is more of a specialist than a universal pick. Lune usually needs specific lineups or work as a control cleaner in a fixed speed order team. That does not make him weak; it means his best value appears in planned Burn lineups and longer fights where his scaling and control resistance can actually mature.

- Fits well with Burn teams.
- Immune and can free allies from control.
