Profile Update

Griffon Minos is an S-class control unit, the only character that allows us to control a rival unit at will. It's a shame we can't use him to attack his own teammates, as that might give him a chance in the current meta, but no.

Minos needs two energy points to control the opponent and deals damage after each of their actions. Unfortunately, many meta units are immune, have many turns or out-of-turn moves, which gives him few chances to appear or be useful.

Pros

  • It has a unique ability within the game.
  • It can also be used to deal single-target damage.

Cons

  • Requires two energy points.
  • Must be quick, use cosmos with speed.
  • Its control is limited.
  • It has no place in the current meta.

Skill 1

Griffon Strike

Deals 80% C.DMG to an enemy and reduces the target's Status Res by 10% for 1 action round.

Skill 2

Cosmic Marionette Thread - Awakened

Minos lets loose Marionette Threads that have a 45% chance (+Status HIT) to control enemy Saints for 2 rounds. Minos will decide the skill order of the controlled Saints, and place them in a Puppet state (unable to take action outside of action rounds) after taking action. When Minos dies, the threads are immediately cut. When Minos is controlled, Minos immediately breaks out of it and redirects the threads at the caster (not triggered if the control effect came from allies). While threads are active, Minos gains a shield equal to 10% of Max HP when attacked (triggers up to 3 times every round).

At the beginning of battle, Minos gains an extra 20 SPD. If the enemy under Cosmic Marionette Thread breaks early, then they take 250% C.DMG.

Skill 4

Thread Binding

After acting, an enemy controlled by Cosmic Marionette Thread is cut by the threads and take 150% C.DMG. If the target spends energy, this damage is reduced by 20% for each energy spent (up to 80% of the damage can be negated).
