Chameleon June is one of the strongest A-rank defensive units in the game history, or at least she used to be. Her core value comes from Vines - Growth - Awakened, which links allies and redistributes incoming damage across the whole team, making focused burst much harder to execute. Combined with Chameleon - Breath and a healer, this created one of the most reliable defensive shells of older metas.
Over time, however, stronger AoE DPS and modern control units reduced the effectiveness of that strategy, and June gradually fell out of top-tier PvP usage. She still has clear value for new accounts and early progression because her kit is simple, cheap, and very forgiving. So while she is no longer a dominant competitive pick, she remains a solid beginner-friendly support choice.
