Aquarius Krest is an excellent DPS Saint unit, finally an Ice Boy that does damage, which we’ve been asking for since the beginning of the game. Unlike other Aquarius units, Krest plays as a Counter-type DPS whose pressure comes from converting Ice Seal and freeze interactions into repeated passive punishment through Aurora Execution.

The kit is very complete for that plan: Diamond Dust - Zero Light helps start the freeze cycle and can shatter frozen targets for extra burst, Ice Shield protects the team while feeding more Ice Seal application, and Coffin of Ice keeps enemy pressure lower while improving follow-up lethality after freezes.

When the rotation is active, Krest can trigger multiple Aurora Excecution no-cost attacks in the same round and quickly take over tempo. He still wants good Speed tuning and proper team support to keep his cycle online, but compared to previous ice options, his impact is much more immediate and threatening. Highly recommended.

Diamond Dust - Zero Light

Deals 100% C.ATK Damage to a single target, applies 1 stack of Ice Seal, and has a 10% chance to freeze them directly. If the enemy is frozen, immediately shatters their frozen state, dealing an additional 300% C.ATK Damage.

Crest grants all allied Saints a shield equal to 100% C.ATK that lasts 2 rounds. All Saints affected by the shield gain Freeze Immunity for 1 round and apply 1 stack of Ice Seal to enemies when attacked.

While Crest is alive, all enemies affected by Ice Seal deal 5% less damage. Enemies that become frozen immediately receive a 5% P.DEF and C.DEF reduction for 2 turns.

Aurora Execution

Crest tracks the number of Ice Seal stacks and freeze instances applied to enemies. Whenever enemies are inflicted with 14 Ice Seals or frozen 4 times, immediately deals 100% C.ATK Damage to all enemy Saints. If an enemy is in any of the following states: frozen, freeze immune, or was frozen this turn, damage to that Saint increases to 200% C.ATK Damage. When Crest is under control effects and cannot act, Aurora Execution will not trigger its attack, but each Aurora Execution trigger will consume that tracked count and reduce the duration of her debuffs by 1 turn.
