Divine Cloth Phoenix Ikki was a very powerful unit, a kind of Summon DPS with continuous damage. However, over time it fell behind, mainly because of its low damage multiplier. This could change a little, as when Ikki casts “Ultimate Phoenix’s Wings Rise,” he transforms into a phoenix that cannot be controlled.
With skill 2 maxed, Ikki deals 160% C.DMG to all enemies and applies burn with 100% chance, entering Flamewrought state. Upon reaching Nirvana, he transforms into a Phoenix dealing 420% C.DMG to the marked enemy after each ally action, able to enter this state up to 4 times per battle with only 10% Max HP loss per activation. Additionally, his Shooting Stars boost his final damage, Max HP, and Health Transfer by 7% each, stacking throughout the fight.
And this is a meta with a lot of control, if only it did more damage. But Ikki DC still has a place where he can be useful—even without the Awakened Cloth—at the start of the game. Ikki is a solid unit who can pull off combos with Isaak Kraken thanks to the nature of his assists. He can help new players get through some levels and dungeons with very little investment. But outside of that scenario, he has very few uses.
