Tier List August 2026
About the Tier List
This is an early Tier List of the Seven Deadly Sins Origin, built from live gameplay sessions, PvE progression testing, and early community data. It is updated after the release of Escanor.
As the game matures and more endgame content opens, character value may shift. Expect periodic adjustments as patch balance and real usage data become clearer.
How Rankings Were Evaluated
Rankings prioritize consistency in story progression, boss performance, and overall team utility. Units that bring stable damage, control, or flexible support are rated higher.
Rarity does not automatically define placement. Some lower-rarity units can overperform in specific roles, while some high-rarity units need stronger investment or better synergy to peak.
Tier Explanation
T0: Core meta picks with top-tier impact and broad usefulness.
T1: Excellent units with strong value in most scenarios.
T2: Solid and reliable options with some limitations.
T3: Situational characters that work with the right setup.
T4-T5: Niche, early-game, or lower-priority investments.

- The game is at a strange point right now; many of the units work well for the early dungeon levels, but raids and higher levels require characters at P10 (Potential). The latest character to join is Derieri, but it will still be a few days before we see where she fits in. Gowther has secured an interesting spot near the top, but he isn’t a character who’s at the very top or indispensable. The Tier List will be reworked later this month to better categorize characters based on the type of weapon they use.
