Seven Deadly Sins Origin Tier List

Tier List September 2026
About the Tier List
This Tier List is based on the editor’s personal experience, but also takes into account various guides and community consensus found on Reddit, YouTube, Discord, and other platforms. This is because the game offers a vast array of possibilities, and unfortunately, much of a character’s potential varies significantly depending on the number of duplicates you obtain. There are differences between P4–P9 characters, and there are highly experienced players who have tested builds that are difficult to access. Even so, this Tier List is geared toward the average player with a moderate time investment who wants to play through the entire game in a fun and comfortable way.
How Rankings Were Evaluated
- The ranking prioritizes characters that deal the most damage, have unique skills, are easy to use, are more useful than other characters, and help players progress through the game’s various challenges.
- Characters are evaluated with all their potential unlocked without the need for dupes (P4), but their maximum potential (P10) is also taken into account. Eventually, a separate guide will be created for each case, but for now, this ranking represents an average of the two.
Tier Explanation
T0: Core meta picks with top-tier impact and broad usefulness.
T1: Excellent units with strong value in most scenarios.
T2: Solid and reliable options with some limitations.
T3: Situational characters that work with the right setup.
T4-T5: Niche, early-game, or lower-priority investments.
Changelog Updated
August 2026
- The Tier List has been updated to include every character in each branch, organized by weapon type and element. Characters have also been categorized into three main roles: DPS, Support or Burst Breaker. DPS refers to units focused primarily on dealing damage; Support refers to healers, debuffers, buffers, enablers, etc.; and Burst Breakers are specialists in breaking shields and elemental protection. Please keep in mind that since this is the first version of the list in this format, it will be adjusted over time.
- Ban has been added to the Tier List; it still needs some tweaking as the days go by, but it's off to a promising start.
- The game is at a strange point right now; many of the units work well for the early dungeon levels, but raids and higher levels require characters at P10 (Potential). The latest character to join is Derieri, but it will still be a few days before we see where she fits in. Gowther has secured an interesting spot near the top, but he isn’t a character who’s at the very top or indispensable.
