Breath of Glory Dual Swords Khala (SSR) is the newest Wind-focused hero in Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. And this new character arrives after Ban, leaving us wondering whether it’s just a filler or if we have a top-tier meta character. Unlike most characters, her three weapons do not simply change her element, they change her role: Dual Swords turns her into a Wind normal-attack DPS, while Nunchaku and Gauntlets work as Burst Specialists for Wind and Earth teams respectively. In practice she ends up covering two very different jobs: a Wind damage dealer that only pays off with heavy dupe investment, and a ready-made booster for Earth teams built around Ban.
The Dual Swords branch is the most technical and, on paper, the most powerful. Her Ultimate Move, Mirror Arsenal, opens a timed zone that keeps granting Mirror - Shaper, which replaces her Normal Attack with Shaper - Mirage Blade and lets her stack Mirage. That window is where her damage loop happens, because the branch is built on three separate buffs: Shaper - Dual Swords from her Passive, Special Attack and Normal Skill, Shaper - Axe from Shaper - Mirror Dive, and Shaper - Longsword from Shaper - Blade Volley. Holding all three at once resets every cooldown and empowers Mirage Blade with bonus damage, which is the loop you want to repeat. As a pure Wind DPS she is solid rather than spectacular: early showcases at Potential 4 still cleared older sanctums on their own schedule, and the verdict is consistent everywhere, do not commit to her as your Wind damage dealer unless you can reach at least Potential 7, because below that she starves exactly like every other DPS in the game.
Her Nunchaku branch shifts her to a Wind Burst Specialist. Windmill stacks Bitter Wind on the enemy, each stack increasing the damage of an active Wind Burst, while her passive Wind Acrobat gives all allies extra Crit Chance against enemies affected by Bitter Wind and, every time an allied hero activates a Wind Burst, grants Crit Damage to Wind allies and barriers to the whole team. With Potential tiers unlocked she also raises all allied Wind damage and hands out Freezing Wind, which boosts Wind Attack against enemies with an active Burst, whenever an ally uses a Tag Skill. That mix makes her a genuine offensive and defensive anchor for Wind compositions such as Howzer, Elaine, Clotho or Tristan.
The Gauntlets branch is the Earth version of the same idea. Trickster converts her Attack into Earth Attack for the team whenever an Earth Burst is activated, Impact Mine floods the field with bombs that generate Burst Gauge, and Hook Blast increases all allies’ Normal Skill damage based on her Crit Damage. Her Ultimate, Blast Top, also increases the Earth Normal Skill damage enemies take, so she pairs naturally with Earth damage dealers and Normal Skill users like Diane or Tioreh.
Where she lands in the meta depends almost entirely on your account. If you are building around Ban, the Gauntlets build is the strongest reason to own her: she is a real booster for Earth teams and provides that value without touching her Wind side at all. As a Wind DPS she is instead a comfortable “nice to have”, pairing well with Wind Daisy and Wind Elizabeth, but unless you are competing for rankings there is no need to chase dupes.
Overall, Khala looks like one of the strongest Wind releases so far, but also one of the most demanding. Her ceiling sits in the Dual Swords rotation, where cooldown resets and Mirage stacking can produce enormous burst windows, while her two Burst Specialist builds offer much more forgiving, team-oriented value. If you already own Wind or Earth teams, she is a safe and flexible investment; if you want a plug-and-play DPS with no stack management, her Nunchaku and Gauntlets builds are the better starting point. If you already have a dominant damage dealer such as a highly duped Ban, or you never invested in Earth teams, she is a safe skip, and with the end-of-year celebration and the first anniversary confirmed to bring more top-tier releases, saving those summons is a perfectly valid plan.
