No Single Perfect Team

There is no single perfect team in Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. Team building is flexible because every character can equip different weapons, and each weapon can change the unit’s role inside the team.
The practical rule is simple: build around Burst generation, role balance, and flexibility. In 7DS Origin your active party is made of 4 characters, and the examples below are only sample lineups to illustrate how different weapons and elements can be combined.

Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is built around flexible weapon swapping. A character is not locked to one job, because their equipped weapon defines how they contribute to the team.
The same unit can be your damage dealer, your support, or your sustain slot. Team building starts with the weapon choice, not just the character portrait.
Most strong teams are designed to reach Elemental Burst quickly, then cash that window into high damage, amplified combos, or powerful utility.
These compositions are built as 4-character examples. They are not meant to be final optimized teams for now, only clear lineup samples for the page.
This is likely the first team you'll have; all the characters are obtained by progressing through the initial story, but you should also have Guila, your first SSR, from an event. All of them are fire-element characters and are useful for getting through the early content, this works as a Fire Team too.
An interesting Wind team that relies on Elaine's power to keep the team going; Tristan in Longsword mode and Howzer complement her well. What does Tioreh do? Well, she's the team's healer and can fit into any lineup.
Ice has some strong characters, and this lineup is a sample of how they can work together. Mannie and Jericho are the main damage dealers, Slater provides debuffs with his Axe, and King can flex between support and healer with his Grimoire.
Every strong team is easier to understand when you first identify what each weapon is doing for the lineup.
Pure offensive slot. This character is expected to convert Burst windows into kills or fast boss damage.
The most important slot in many comps. This role accelerates Elemental Burst and unlocks the team’s strongest damage window.
Provides buffs, debuffs, cooldown support, or Burst efficiency so your carry reaches better damage conditions.
Adds healing, barriers, or defensive tools that let the team survive long enough to rotate into Burst safely.
Elemental Burst is the core combat multiplier. When Burst is active, your damage climbs sharply and many kits unlock their real payoff.
Meliodas is the clearest example: he cannot do his best work if the team does not first provide the Burst window he converts into Darkness pressure.
That is why most reliable trios start with a charger, then add the carry, then finish the shell with support or sustain.
You can build around one element when the roster supports it, but early on hybrid trios are usually more consistent.
Earth currently has the cleanest synergy shell thanks to Diane, King, and Elaine. Fire has workable pressure builds with Guila, Tristan, and Tioreh. Hybrid teams remain the safest recommendation for most accounts.
