Black Flame Wings Rapier Dreyfus is a seasoned swordsman and instructor in the Kingdom of Liones, once serving as Grandmaster of the Holy Knights before his long possession by a demon shaped his past. Now devoted to guiding the next generation, he brings experience and discipline to the battlefield. As a SR rarity character, Dreyfus offers utility and adaptability through his multiple weapon paths. He can wield a Rapier (Physical), Longsword (Earth), or Lance (Holy), allowing him to function as a debuffer support, a burst attacker, or a crit-focused damage dealer depending on the build.
With the Rapier, Dreyfus works as a debuffer who enhances damage-over-time (DoT) strategies. His kit increases the effectiveness of status effects such as Bleed and Shock, making him highly valuable in teams that rely on continuous damage. His Special Attack and Tag Skill apply debuffs that amplify DoT, while his Passive further strengthens these effects. Additionally, when attacking enemies that are Stunned or Paralyzed, he reduces the interval between DoT ticks, accelerating damage output.
In his Longsword configuration, Dreyfus becomes an Earth-element burst attacker who performs best during Earth Burst windows. His damage increases against enemies affected by Earth Burst, although he relies on teammates to help generate it efficiently. A key part of his kit is the “Pride” debuff, which he applies with his Special Attack to increase the damage enemies take from him. His Ultimate deals increased damage to Petrified enemies, encouraging synergy with allies who can apply Petrify, as he cannot do so himself.
When equipped with a Lance, Dreyfus shifts into a crit-focused attacker with strong scaling through the “Surge” mechanic. He gains Surge stacks through his Basic and Special Attacks, increasing his Critical Damage over time. Once fully stacked, Surge transforms into an enhanced state that guarantees a critical hit on his Ultimate, resulting in a powerful finishing strike. While Surge is active, his Normal Skill can also inflict Stun, adding utility by controlling enemy movement.
