Vessel of the Kings Power
Ichigo Kurosaki - Dual Zangetsu immediately establishes himself as one of the strongest SSR DPS characters currently available in Bleach Soul Resonance. Rather than relying on complicated gimmicks or excessive setup, his gameplay revolves around a smooth combat loop that rewards good execution with extraordinary burst damage. Even at B0 (no duplicates), Ichigo is capable of outperforming many fully invested characters, making him an excellent investment for both free-to-play and spending players.
The core of his kit revolves around applying Breach Marks while building Spiritual Pressure through basic attacks and techniques. After using two Ultimate Skills, Ichigo enters his powerful Transcendent Mode, dramatically increasing his offensive potential and unlocking an upgraded Getsuga Jujisho finisher capable of dealing devastating damage. His rotation feels satisfying because every attack contributes toward the next power spike instead of simply waiting for cooldowns.
From a build perspective, Ailment Damage, Critical Rate, Critical Damage, and Attack% provide the highest value. Since one of his passives converts Ailment Damage into additional Critical Damage, stacking related bonuses significantly increases his overall DPS. His exclusive weapon and stamp set further enhance Breach damage, Ultimate damage, and overall consistency, although the character performs exceptionally well even before obtaining his complete best-in-slot equipment.
Perhaps Ichigo’s greatest strength is his incredible scaling. Testing has already shown him producing absurd damage numbers at base investment, while future teammates are expected to improve his performance even further. His current best composition already delivers excellent results: Mayuri (or Rangiku) and Nelliel, or sometines even Tosen (if you don’t have Nelliel). But you’ll have to practice the rotation—Nelliel is a little picky about the combo. There’s an excellent video by Athr0 that shows how to execute the combo in detail.
Overall, Dual Zangetsu Ichigo is a premium damage dealer that combines flashy animations, fluid gameplay, and outstanding performance. His rotation requires some practice, but once mastered, he consistently delivers some of the highest damage currently possible in the game. If you’re looking for a long-term investment that will remain relevant as the meta evolves, Ichigo is one of the safest SSR characters to pull.
