So, you've decided to jump into Bleach: Soul Resonance, great choice. Whether you're starting fresh or returning after a break, this guide will help you avoid early mistakes, spend smarter, and build a solid account without burning through your resources.
The good news? Bleach: Soul Resonance is surprisingly friendly to beginners, especially if you're free-to-play. You don't need to reroll, you don't need to panic, and you definitely don't need to level six characters at once (please don't do that). Let's get you started the right way.
The first thing you need to know is that this is an action RPG, available on mobile devices only (no PC version). That means you'll have to stay active in the game, pressing or tapping to activate skills while moving around a 3D environment and fighting enemies. It's very similar to games like 7DS Origin or the well-known Genshin Impact. This is important because not everyone is a big fan of that type of gameplay on mobile phones and prefers turn-based RPGs—but that's not the case here.
However, keep in mind that the game has an Auto Battle Mode, so your characters can fight on their own using the CPU's logic. There are scenarios where it's not active, but in many it is. Similarly, you can skip dungeons and other sections.
It's also a gacha game; the main objective is to collect and level up our Bleach characters. We must gather resources, unlock modes as we level up, build teams, and so on. Bleach Soul Resonance is a very fun game, F2P-friendly, and even more so if you're a fan of the manga/anime.
Short answer: No. Unlike many gachas, Bleach: Soul Resonance has a very forgiving summon system. The pity is set at 80 pulls, which is already generous enough to make rerolling unnecessary. On top of that, the game gives you a steady enough flow of premium currency early on that restarting over and over just isn't worth the trouble.
Unless you enjoy rerolling as a hobby (which is between you and your sanity), you're better off simply starting and progressing. Here is a more complete guide to the summon system and why rerolling isn't needed.
Jades are your most valuable resource, and how you spend them early matters a lot. There are many in-game events where you can earn Jades, from daily quests to clearing dungeons, challenges, and more. The game is generous in that regard, and there are always events going on. However, keep in mind that you shouldn't spend Jades on anything other than Summon Tickets.

Do not spend Jades on stamina. It feels useful while rushing, but the return is usually poor compared to banner-focused spending.
You can buy a few cheaper Corridor Keys early. If you spend a little, the monthly card is the best value pack by far.
When you start the game, your main job is simple: push story. Story mode is your best source of early Jades and progression materials. Every chapter gives premium currency, and the rewards add up quickly.
This includes:
All of them are worth clearing.
Once you've pushed as far as possible in the main story, move into Adventure Mode, especially the Memory and Trial sections. These are also packed with free Jades and should be cleared as soon as your team allows it.
Early game is not about grinding endlessly. It's about pushing content and collecting all the free resources the game throws at you.
The main problem with gacha games is that you start out with low-tier characters until the first banner arrives and you gain access to a wider pool of characters. However, if you want to progress quickly in the game, it’s very important to focus on leveling up only the most important units. This usually consists of a DPS, a Sub-DPS with support abilities, and a pure Support. You can check the Tier List to see which characters are holding key positions.
Early resources are limited. Invest in three units, not six, so your core team stays strong instead of everyone staying weak. End game will requiere more characters, but 3 can carry you through the early and mid game just fine. Focus on quality, not quantity.
Do not push only character levels while ignoring weapon and skill levels. Remember that you also get significant bonuses from Weapon and Core Stamps, as well as from Sets. You should also level up your account; many dungeons and character levels have a cap based on your overall account level.
Stamps are your gear system, and yes, your early gear will be ugly. That's normal. When starting out, 4-star (purple) stamps are completely fine. Use them. Don't be picky. They will carry you until proper farming opens up. Just don't overinvest in them.
Level them enough to help progression, but don't dump too many resources into temporary gear because you'll eventually replace them with 5-star sets. Avoid low-rarity blue gear whenever possible. Purple is the sweet spot until you can farm real gear.
The game actually gives you decent built-in recommendations. Each character has a small guide section that shows:
It's a very useful starting point, especially for newer players. But if you want the real secret sauce, check the rankings. Seriously, go spy on the whales.
The ranking board lets you inspect top players and see exactly how they build their characters, including gear stats and substats. It's one of the easiest ways to figure out what actually works without wasting time farming the wrong pieces. Sometimes the best guide is simply stealing smarter people's homework.
This is where you farm Core Stamps, which are a major part of character power. Always use your keys here.
This is your main gear farm and where your first real 5-star gear sets will come from. Do your two free daily attempts every day. Always. This should become part of your permanent routine.
It sounds boring. It is not exciting. Do it anyway. Each character's personal training gives free Jades, and it only takes about a minute. It's one of the easiest sources of quick currency in the game. Free Jades for minimal effort is the kind of deal we like.
Even if you're casual, guilds unlock useful rewards and daily content, especially Guild Challenge, which becomes a nice way to track your damage growth over time.
Once story is mostly done, the game becomes much more relaxed. Your daily routine becomes fairly light, and most of your time goes into weekly or rotating challenge modes. The most important ones are:
A steady source of rewards and summon tickets. Push this whenever your account gets stronger.
One of the better endgame modes. Weekly boss fights, solid Jade income, and a fun way to test your teams.
A newer boss-focused mode with much tougher fights. Great challenge content once your account is more developed.
Not everyone's favorite, but it does offer rewards and is worth doing if you enjoy multiplayer.
A roguelike mode with rewards. Not the most exciting mode in the game, but still worth clearing when possible.
