Sajin Komamura in Bleach Soul Resonance is one of those characters that doesn’t look flashy at first—but once you understand his kit, he quickly stands out as a hybrid powerhouse between offense and defense.

He’s built around a follow-up attack system, stacking a mechanic called Buildup. Every action feeds into this, and once stacked, his battlefield skill becomes extremely potent, triggering multiple extra hits and scaling into real burst damage. The key here is that Komamura isn’t meant to stay on-field constantly—he’s an off-field enabler who jumps in to unleash empowered skills, then rotates out.

What makes him unique is how well he blends roles. On one side, he provides strong defensive utility through a high-scaling shield based on his HP, making him excellent for tougher content. On the other, he actively amplifies team damage by reducing enemy strike resistance and enabling follow-up chains, which synergize well with strike-based teams.

His ultimate (Bankai) adds another layer: for a short duration, he becomes unkillable (HP can’t drop below 1) while massively boosting his damage. It’s both a safety tool and a clutch finisher, especially in difficult fights.
