Bleach Soul Resonance’s Yachiru Kusajishi may only be an SR unit, but she performs far above expectations as a dedicated Slash support. If you do not own SSR Kisuke Urahara, Yachiru is arguably the best alternative available — and even players with stronger SSR rosters can still find valuable uses for her in specific team compositions.
What makes Yachiru shine is her incredible amount of team utility packed into a very simple playstyle. She provides Slash Damage boosts, Critical Damage buffs, Critical Rate increases, and Attack amplification all at once. Her Spectate mechanic increases the active character’s Attack by up to 32% at A6, while her Inspiration state grants additional Slash Damage bonuses for the entire team. For a support unit, those numbers are genuinely impressive.
Her gameplay is also extremely beginner-friendly. Unlike many tactical characters that require complicated rotations, Yachiru is designed to quickly enter the field, activate buffs, and immediately swap out. In fact, the AI handles her surprisingly well during auto-play, making her an excellent choice for farming content or casual grinding sessions.
Her Ultimate is the centerpiece of her kit. Once activated, it grants Inspiration to the team and instantly enables Spectate if you switch characters afterward. Combined with her signature Core Stamp, she can also provide a huge Crit Rate bonus to the entire party, dramatically increasing overall DPS consistency.
Yachiru works best alongside Bankai Ichigo and Byakuya, where she acts as the glue holding Slash teams together. While her personal damage is negligible, her support value more than compensates for it.
