Unicorn Yato is an A-rank DPS with a stacking mechanic and bond-based support, designed to amplify a single ally while dealing area damage on charged turns. He is mostly an off-meta or collection-focused pick rather than a top-tier PvP carry, but he can still be effective for newer accounts that want a supportive damage dealer with passive survivability. If the got the dupes of course.
His core loop is straightforward: accumulate Unicorn’s Will stacks through basic attacks and bonding, then trigger Unicorn Gallop at four stacks for AoE damage that can refresh itself by eliminating targets. Bond of Verve lets him buff a chosen ally’s damage while also generating stacks, and his shielding from Skill 4 provides defense for both himself and the bonded unit when it is in danger. At level 5, Unicorn Gallop reaches 180% P.ATK AoE damage and the shields scale significantly, making him a more durable team contributor compared with squishier pure DPS units.
Overall, Unicorn Yato is a niche hybrid unit best suited to beginner and progression teams that appreciate his momentum-based damage pattern and defensive utility. But we can’t get many copies of him so, for now, just a collection unit.
