Northern Crown Katya is an A-rank healer focused on steady round-based sustain rather than explosive recovery. She is not a major PvP meta support in current high-end play, but she remains a practical option for beginner and mid-progression teams that need reliable healing from a simple, easy-to-use kit.
At max skill levels, almost all of her value comes from Gem Tears Dazzling. The skill gives her a strong self-heal, provides immediate team healing, and then continues healing allies as they take action during the same round, which makes her especially useful in lineups that cycle many turns. At level 5 it also adds small permanent offensive and defensive stat growth each time it is cast, giving her some scaling in longer fights. Ice Crown adds occasional anti-revive utility, but at only a 30% trigger chance it is more of a bonus than a reliable reason to pick her, while her basic attack contributes very little outside of filler turns.
Overall, Katya is a straightforward budget healer with solid sustain for newer accounts and PvE-oriented progression. Her ceiling is limited compared with stronger modern support units that combine healing with better tempo control or protection, so she usually falls off in optimized PvP despite being perfectly serviceable early on.
