Jango is a B-rank DPS unit whose kit is heavily dependent on Black Saint team synergies. In practical gameplay, he is mostly a collection character, since B-rank units are quickly outperformed by other characters and his value collapses outside very specific themed lineups.
At max skill levels, his main active damage comes from Strength in Numbers, which can call allied Black Saints for extra random follow-up attacks. Bravado also grants scaling physical attack and defense based on how many Black Saints are present, so his performance improves in dedicated Black Saint compositions. The issue is that this setup requirement is strict, and even when fully enabled his output remains low compared with modern damage units, while his standalone value without synergy is poor.
Overall, Jango is a niche synergy piece for collection or thematic teams rather than a practical progression investment.
