Firebird Ikki is a burn-based DPS that specializes in multi-hit pressure and burn detonation chains. At max skill, Feathers of Fire applies stackable Burn, while Searing Cinders hits 5 times and can spread damage to other enemies already marked with Burn. This gives him damage in prolonged fights where burn stacks can stay active.
His survivability depends on Fiery Protection, which now lasts up to 5 hits and grants 50% C.DMG Res while reflecting extra Burn stacks on attackers. That makes him much easier to pilot for beginners than many glass-cannon DPS units. Still, in top PvP environments his pace and damage ceiling are… non-existant. If not, he is generally below modern burn or burst options, so he is usually a progression or collection choice rather than a meta carry.
