JoJo: Golden Spirit Tier List

This Tier List is based on several sources and factors. The first thing to keep in mind is that the current character pool is somewhat limited due to the character type and role classifications established by the game itself. This makes it a good time to start playing if you’re just beginning. This guide is based on our own experience, but it’s limited by the fact that we haven’t reached the end of the game yet. By that, we mean the maximum level and all resources.

For this reason, we’ve also consulted various sources, including YouTube videos and player opinions on social media. Over time, the weight of these opinions will even out. But keep in mind that JoJo Golden Spirit isn’t a complicated game that requires extensive analysis or testing. What it is, however, is an expensive game due to the skill-dupes system. Keep that in mind.

• Defense: Front-line protectors that absorb the opening burst and hold the formation together.
• Assault: Self-healing fighters that apply pressure and stay alive while trading hits.
• Agility: Flankers that open on the opposite target, gain crit and slip into stealth at low HP.
• Ranged: Damage dealers that gain value from distance and open ground.
• Special: Energy generators that accelerate the team’s Ultimates and enable RUSH chains.
• Support: Healers, shielders and buffers that keep the rest of the team online.

[T0 · Meta-defining] Units that change how a team is built. If you can invest in one, start here.

[T1 · Excellent] The core of most accounts. They perform across several modes and stay useful at low copy counts.

[T2 · Strong] Good units, but they depend on the composition, the mode or a specific investment level.

[T3 · Situational] They work in the early game or in very specific teams. It is normal to replace them later.

[T4 · Low priority] Mostly R units and outclassed SRs. Useful for the early story or for collection purposes.
