Bad news for those who were waiting for Bambietta Basterbine: the upcoming Limited SSR character has been delayed in Bleach: Soul Resonance. The official team announced that, due to unexpected issues encountered during the development of the next character, the release has been pushed back until those issues are resolved.
It’s unclear why the delay occurred. Let’s remember that Bleach Soul Resonance has a bad habit of announcing characters or revealing their skill sets just one or two days in advance! So it wasn’t even confirmed yet that it would be Bambietta, and yet they’ve already announced the delay (which has happened before, too). You can see the announcement on the game’s social media or on its official Discord.
We talked about Bambietta in our previous post, where she was expected to drop on August 5 as the second character of the Thousand-Year Blood War collaboration event, alongside rumors of a brand new typing. That date is now off the table, and no new release date has been confirmed yet.
Compensation for the Delay
To make up for the wait, the team has announced daily compensation for every day the release is delayed. This is great news, since the longer the delay, the more rewards players will stack up.
Here’s the breakdown of the compensation per delayed day:

What This Means for the TYBW Lineup
This delay also shifts the calendar for the rest of the TYBW collaboration lineup. With Bambietta’s release pushed back, subsequent characters like Uryu Ishida (August 26) and Candice Catnipp (September 16) could also be affected, depending on how long the development issues take to resolve.
