While he may not immediately stand out as a traditional DPS unit, Uryu becomes surprisingly effective when paired with characters that frequently use techniques and special attacks.
The core of his kit revolves around the Quincy Mark mechanic. By using various attacks, Uryu accumulates Quincy Marks that can later be consumed whenever an active ally uses a Technique. This automatically triggers powerful combo attacks, allowing him to contribute damage even while off the field. As a result, Uryu fits naturally into fast-paced teams that constantly cycle abilities and maintain offensive pressure.
One of his strongest features is his Battlefield Skill, which grants the entire team a significant boost to type-based damage while active.
