Considerations
There are a few things to keep in mind: first, this applies to inter-region and inter-service competition. Unlike the global version, in China the servers are separated by device type or service, so we have QQ, WeChat, Android, and iOS regions. I’m not entirely sure about the separation yet, since I don’t have an account on the Chinese server; my source is the YouTuber Ares on his YouTube channel.
Unfortunately, the historical data is very limited. I don’t have data from previous years or know where to get it; if you have any information, please email me at editor@anigacha.com.
Just like the servers for the global version of Saint Seiya Awakening Kotz, the Chinese version—managed directly by Tencent—uses a system that tracks the number of times a player has won the tournament, the number of times they’ve reached a final, and the number of times they’ve advanced to the semifinals, as well as their last date of participation. Based on this data, it calculates their ranking according to their score.
