Black Flame Wings Staff King, also known as Harlequin, is the Fairy King and the Sin of Sloth from The Seven Deadly Sins. A SSR rarity character, he stands out for his versatility, capable of adapting to multiple combat roles depending on his weapon choice. He can wield a Staff (Holy element) as a burst damage dealer, a Grimoire (Physical element) as a defensive support, or a Wand (Earth element) as a specialized buffer for Earth teams. This flexibility makes him one of the most adaptable units in the game, able to fit into both offensive and supportive compositions.
When equipped with a Staff, King becomes a burst-oriented attacker whose damage revolves around the Bloom stacking mechanic. Each attack grants Bloom stacks, which can be rapidly accumulated by attacking enemies in a Burst state. Once he reaches 20 stacks, Full Bloom is triggered, significantly amplifying his damage and granting Defense Shatter, allowing him to bypass enemy defenses more effectively.
With the Grimoire, King transitions into a defensive support role focused on survivability and team protection. His ultimate provides a shield and continuous healing, making him especially valuable in prolonged encounters or near-death scenarios. His kit becomes even more potent when allies fall below 30% HP, activating additional damage reduction and healing effects. He also applies the “Mark of the Forest” debuff through his attacks, increasing the damage enemies take and indirectly boosting the entire party’s output. His Special Attack introduces a counter mechanic that reduces incoming damage and restores HP upon a successful counter, encouraging close-range, reactive play.
In his Wand configuration, King serves as a dedicated support for Earth-element teams. His passive ability scales with stored Magic, increasing the Attack and Defense of Earth allies, which makes resource management a central aspect of his gameplay. His Normal Skill further amplifies Earth damage, and when combined with his passive, it provides a substantial boost to overall team performance.
